Will make a great module - its needed functionality

Any plans to create a module to use this engine, or aware of any other modules in discussion with you to add support for this module (fileshare, webfm, etc)?

I really like this functionality, and it would remove the 'complexity' (we're talking regular users here) of using an FTP client when adding new sites, making site migration changes, and assist with general usage. Plus, it would let them access multiple, and larger repositories for files than would be properly stored within a Drupal instance, all from just one friendly Drupal site.

I don't have any funding to provide, but would be prepared to develop install, admin and usage documentation for this module.
