I wanted to load an integer from a node into rules scheduler using php evaluation and then use strtotime to convert it into a date. However it looks like scheduler doesn't allow me to load the node.

Has anyone come across this or can point me in the direction of where to find it within the module code?

I don't know what this mean - are you saying the UI doesn't give you a way to do this? Or are you saying there's an error when the Rule runs (what is the error then?). Is the node accessible by an anonymous user, or is there a permission problem accessing the node from cron() here?

This issue is very old, so I doubt either of you still needs an answer. But if this is still an issue with the current version of Rules please provide a lot more details along with an export of the Rule you are scheduling so we can try to reproduce the problem or point out what you're doing wrong.
