I just upgraded to Drupal 5.2 and the latest version of MimeMail available.
Now, I seem to be getting raw, unformatted html tags showing up in mails that get sent.

The affected modules include Notify, Invite, Subscriptions, Event Signup (I think)

On the other hand, the Mass Contact module is able to send mails out properly.

I'm not seeing this behavior here, are you still having this issue? If so, can you provide a bit more detail about your setup, and what email application you're seeing this behavior in?
