Hello, I'd like to apply to become a co-maintainer of the Workbench Media module.
I currently run a number of websites which rely heavily on Workbench, Media and Workbench Media. I must often patch and improve these modules and I'd love to be able to distribute these changes back to the community. I've been involved with improving the Media module and am familiar with the work being done to Media and File Entity (which may have implications for Workbench Media).
I'm also paid to develop full-time, so I can provide reliable support and testing for user issues and patches. The organization I work for has a large user base so performance and usability testing are done naturally.
I have experience as a themer, module maintainer (Browscap, Mobile Tools, Nivo Slider, Submenu Tree) and core patch contributor.

dave reidI'm not sure that we're opening up external commit access to Workbench for now, but I've committed the updates required for Media 2.x compatibility and made a new branch/release. We'd of course always welcome your patches same as always, even if we don't get to them immediately.
Is there more than the Media 2.x updates that you were looking to do or accomplish that I could discuss with the team for consideration?

devin carlson commentedThat's fine with me. I'll post any new issues and patches against the 2.x branch for your consideration.
