Thanks for this helpful module !

Should it be possible to consider an integration with the book links ?
It should be very useful in combinaison with the Book Block module that built automatic book menus.

I haven't thought it through carefully, but I don't see why this module won't work with standard menu links to book pages? An integration with the book block module would almost certainly be out of scope for this module... Feel free to post a patch for review if you build an integration, however.
