It would be great to see the tag attribute included in the rss.xml output. This should point to the favicon.ico file. Many sites use this (bloglines.com for one) to show the favicon in their list view. Just a nit, but nice.

The rss.xml file is produced by Drupal core, not by the syndication module (which merely is a place that lists all of the feeds which are available on the site); this is not the appropriate place to list this. I would have suggested you add this to the feature list for D6, but since D6 has been released, I won't suggest that.
