I have categories and subcategories that are pretty important on my website, so I'd like to give them a priority as well. I do not see an option for setting a custom priority for taxonomy terms. I was hoping you could help me.

Support for this will come as part of a re-design of the module in which each type of link will be supported by its own implementation of hook_xmlsitemap.
