Hi - This is just a feature idea for subproducts.

I have a situation where along with SKU & Price, I also need to vary weight with each subproduct attribute.

For instance, on this page selecting a crystal decanter is 7lbs and should effect the shipcalc weight. And perfume is more like 1.5lbs ship weight. Currently just splitting the difference, and losing $ on the heavier items.

nice feature. But its very hard to implement. Reason: there are some fields that the subproduct should add (like the weight you proposed), some are concatenated (like product name), multiplied or simply not used, maintaining the parent product values.

I will try to think about a solution for eC4 subproducts.

for now, i really dont know what to do.
