I think making transactions into nodes would improve the ecommerce administration. One could create special views to show active, pending transactions. In some cases (at least for me) this would be very useful. OTOH it could be implemented using an extra module (similar to usernode, I guess).

No, I have had this before many times, and transactions are not content.

There is just too much overhead to make transactions into nodes, and would give auditors nightmares
