Would it be possible to add group support, so that users don't have to fiddle about with settings each time, but rather drop the instigator into a group which they've defined?

Integration with members.module, so that users can display users who they're in a handshake with, and anybody can view anybody else's handshake relations (unless they set them as private?) would be very cool.

Also, it would be nice for users to set any node as available to one or more of their handshake groups.

Thanks.

I have a vague understanding of what you outlined. Please elaborate on all points.

BTW, read the README file and the TODOs at the top of the module file and if you find what you are looking for already listed, please close this issue as the features would already be in the overall plan.

As for integration with the member module, that will not happen in favor of a module of my own design at a later date. "Share handshakes" could become part of the handshake process.

As all information regarding the handshakes is in a database table. Other modules can easily access it for presentation in a variety of ways. This module will probably never allow for listing a user's friends like they do at myspace. A separate module could do so, however. This author is not interested in such a project at this time. The direction this module and its supporting, future modules will take is more like that of an email contact book. Users will eventually be able to add contacts by hand of those not on the web site involved and will be able to sync with popular programs/devices like Palm, Outlook and so on.
