I'm customizing an advertising module to use userpoints. What is max_points used for in the database?

Originally, it was supposed to contain the highest number of points a user has reached, regardless of his/her current number of points.

I recall there was a bug around that, and it was not updating correctly.

So, ignore that field for the time being.
