When I drag files to the plupload window it would be nice if the file just started uploading immediately, instead of having to press the start upload button. Also if multiple uploads of content is allow, just show the plupload widget.

auto-start: This would not work very well with the ajax-integration. I'll have this feature in mind if I find a solution though.

show only plupload: This is controlled by FileField Sources. You could make a feature request to that module to only show one alternative / turn off the default upload field.
