Description
According to http://www.couloir.org/js_slideshow/#1 the code is CC-BY-SA-2.0 and is available elsewhere. This deviates from the drupal.org cvs policy and should be removed. You can then say "download from here and install on your server..."

I was under the assumption that Attribution-ShareAlike license files could also be released under the GPL license. On their site, they state that "If you alter, transform, or build upon this work, you may distribute the resulting work only under the same or similar license to this one". I have researched and found that the two licenses should be compatible and therefore fall in the category of "similar license". If this is still not permitted, I have asked permission from the author for the ability to release his files under the GPL license. If he refuses permission, I will remove the files from future releases.

GPL isn't compatible with CC (and vice versa):
http://creativecommons.org/compatiblelicenses
Please remove the code ASAP.

Sorry, I must have missed that page. I will remove them until I have proper permissions.

Looks fixed to me.
Also, the dual license would be best in my opinion - good idea to mail the author and see if he is willing to do that.
