As in the title, I've been attempting upgrades on and off since 4.7 on one of my sites, and now drupal 5 is out and I'm still stuck at 4.6. My upgrades just AREN'T SUCCESSFUL, and I've complete given up on upgrading.

I've tried everything in the book. Absolutely everything. However this is not about help on upgrading - I've decided to start fresh with a Drupal 5 installation.

I'll just need to fill it with my node contents from the previous version - is this possible, are there any modules for it, and if so how shall I go about it?

This question might infuriate you, but I'll ask it anyway. Have you tried upgrading to Drupal 5.3?
