Non-administrators could not see empty fields

Hello!
I have a user view. In this view I added a view field: a list of taxonomy terms from nodes the user created (one term per node). Everything works fine for administrators: all users are listed, if the user has created some nodes, the terms are listed, if not the field is empty.
Looking at it as an authenticated user, I only see the users who have created such nodes. All users with empty fields are hidden. I tried tuning the permissions in the view and other settings in the contextual filter, but it stays the same.
Has anyone an idea what the problem is? Thanks a lot in advance!
