How do I enable viewing of pages for visitors of our site without requiring users to be logged in?
I want people to log in to post, but not necessary to read, review, get info, etc.
Please help.
Thank you,

simple
go to administer>users>configure>permissions and select
"access content" under node module section.
If you want to give not logged in users more permissions
you can do all from this page.

follow-up
administer > users > configure > permissions ....and scroll down to node module > access content
What if it is checked, but when not logged in, my tests show "page not found" as a result of clicking on navigation?
problem with a theme?
I understand that some versions of drupal have problems with some themes rendering links. Does your links have this form ?q?q=something ?
If yes this is the problem
Try using different themes.
