Is it possible to have the individual user details sent with the mail.
for instance if I was sending to some hundred or so as a reminder and would like as part of the body to display the individuals user id, and username, then can this be done?????
Have tried various ways but cant seem to pick up on the account variables

oadaeh commentedYes, it can be done. If you install the Token module, you can specify all sorts of information in the prefix and suffix areas in the administration settings. If that is not good enough, maybe I can see about adding Token capabilities to the main message area.

matthewF commentedThanks for the reply. Token module doesnt show mass contact as compatible but tried anyways, not much joy. Can you tell me how it is integrated or have an example?

oadaeh commentedI've just recently added support for the Token module, and I haven't told the maintainers, since I wanted to wait and see how well it was received.
I see what you mean. I realize now that it is only parsing the Global tokens. I'll have to look into this a bit deeper to see why the others are not being parsed and how to get them to be parsed. Or just add them as custom tokens. Either way, however, it will be a few days before I can get back to it, but I will.

oadaeh commentedI spent some time on this, and I've determined that it's not possible to have tokens on individual e-mails when doing a mass mailing. It would be possible if I changed the way Mass Contact processes recipients and mailings to send multiple messages to one recipient, rather than sending one message to multiple recipients, which I'm not going to do. Instead, I changed the help text to only include the global tokens.
