Announcing New Drupal Book
Hi all,
this is the first time i write to the Drupal community.
I only wanted to inform you that i'm starting to write another Drupal-related book.
Written in english, the title i found to be ok is "Accessibile sites with Drupal" and, as the title suggests, will be focused on how to achieve a full accessibility when building sites and web applications using Drupal.
Unlike the books already published it will be more specific but, because of this, more useful and effective to those who are
concerned and take care of accessibility issues.
Last but not least some notes:
1) the book will, very likely, be released only in electronic format (PDF) since i still haven't found a quick way to send it to the press (any suggestion about this is appreciated)
2) the release date is scheduled for the end of the year/beginning of 2008
3) in the very next weeks i'll set up a dedicate site where you will find all the infos about the book and, later, a sample chapter.

Some info about me:
My name is Donato Rotunno and i'm a web designer & accessibility consultant based in Rome (Italy).
My nick is well known to the community of another popular cms (XOOPS) for having contributed in many ways (i developed, among others, the TinyEditor) during my 4-year support to that system.
In the last months i switched to Drupal and started using it for my job.
Currently it's my first choice when a client request me a good system to build a site on ;-)

Hi
Keep me posted, I'm interested in maybe helping with the book or whatever. (I saw your post here)
I have a few drupal sites under my belt and a few others dealing with accessibility as (a personal, ethical) priority. I am keen to learn more and maybe help in development or documentation as time permits.
Have you seen this?
