First off, I just want to say that Ubiquity is a great theme! As a joomla convert, it's nice to see a few really well-designed themes being developed for drupal. I hope that the designer contributes more themes in the future... maybe, one day, when I have a better understanding of drupal themes, I might be able to contribute some of my own ideas.
In the meantime, I am tweaking ubiquity to suit my tastes - thankfully I don't have to do much!
I am using my own image to replace the headerbgplus.jpg, but am wondering if it possible to have the image wider than the rest of the content (say - 1200px?). Also, referring to the designer's own website, I notice the links at the top right - "login | register". I've been looking through styles.css and can't figure out how to right-align the header text as you have done. Also, I think I might want the font a little smaller.
Any help you can provide would be appreciated! And, of course, keep up the good work!!

Hi sudomaster, I'm really happy you like the theme. As on my website I made a couple of customizations related to contributed modules.
The little menu you see is made by the minimenus module. I added some css overrides to my theme to make it fit. Feel free to go to my site and check the css with Firebug or any other tool.
Setting the header wider would cause the layout to crash. In order to do that you should redesign the downloadable PSD graphic file and slice it.
