I believe the template.php file for the OpenOmega theme has a typo in it for the hook, 'system_themes_page_alter'.
'open_omega' probably should be 'openomega'.
Thanks for the theme.
EDIT: Once the typo is fixed, the content region content that has the paging feature has issues that requires fixing.
EDIT#2: Looking at this further, it appears that content at the bottom is actually the same content as the 'More News' link.
EDIT#2a: That column is the Front Page (promoted) content. It is not displayed in the correct region unless the grid and block are enabled in Appearance => Settings => Debugging.
For right now, in order to use this theme, I will put the typo in the hook back in place in order to suppress that content from appearing on the front page.
EDIT#3: In the sub-theme, this misplaced content column appears regardless. (see EDIT#2a above)

drupert55 commentedUPDATE:
At the moment, I no longer believe that changing the name typo in the function '_system_themes_page_alter(...)' in template.php previously mentioned is causing a problem.
I changed the name from open_omega to openomega and the More News page info is still showing at the bottom of the page.
I now believe that it has more to do with the fact that I am using a newly-created sub-theme of OpenOmega . This content does not show in the original OpenOmega theme.
Also, this content is aligned properly when the debugging grid and blocks are enabled. Once these are disable, that content hugs the left column.
Q: How to get rid of this content the right way?
Q: What in the code enables this in a sub-theme?
Thanks.
