Caption fails to display on iPad when successive images have the same pixel dimensions.

For adjacent images with identical pixel dimensions, the overlay caption for the second image fails to display on the iPad. Also the transition speed between images collapses to zero. For desktop browsers the caption displays normally but there's no transition delay between the images.
