have three field, audio, image and video and am creating a view that will list their customized 'teasers'.
i would like to display only one of the media fields in the custom teaser

can this be achieved with the current module?

Yes, you can daisy-chain multiple Views If Empty fields together. This is related to #1842602-3: Document multiple "If this field is empty" fields. I have updated the project page description to include an example of how to implement multiple Views If Empty fields.
