I may be missing something but I finally took the plunge and upgraded to 7.x-2.0 knowing I'd have to delete my old image field types and switch to the new image-cropped field types. So far [with some work] so good. But I am now realizing that for whatever reason rules does not see fields of type image-cropped. I'd have thought rules would see all fields. I hope I'm missing a switch, a setting, or something? If i'm not it may be a good idea to add this information to the "this is a different fork of version 7.x-1.0" description on the project page.

As a side note - am I also noticing this new field doesn't allow media module integration either, ie; browsing through media library to choose an image.

Bump! Same problem here. Rules is a must add-on in my opinion. Just saying.

You're better off going back to 7.1, 7.2 isn't even a field anymore. I'd expect getting rules integration with it anytime soon is a negative.
