HI everyone,
Myself and another drupal user (esadot) have been searching for a Currently Supported module to sell file downloads Without requiring the potential customer being forced to sign up for a drupal account, check email, verify the account, and then finally go back to the product to purchase it.
Quickfiles looked promising, does not seem to be very supported at all at the moment (it has been months in a dev release and the author is busy working paid projects according to replies I have gotten.)
E-commerce DOES have an anonymous feature for sales, but Unfortunately with File sales, it does the Worst possible thing...it charges the customer and then customer has no way to retrieve the file.
SO esadot has been speaking to developers to work on this project, however since neither of the two of us are extremely wealthy, I had a thought that if donations were sought, other drupal users might be willing to support the development with a donation via Paypal for the extra features that would be available to the whole of drupal.
