Cannot add any more strings

Hi

7.x-1.8+4-dev (2012-Apr-17)

I am trying to change text on button which can be found here: go to http://www.exclusivenorthdevon.co.uk/dev/braunton/treetops.html, click on Availability & Prices tab, under the calendar is a button with Book this resource ... on. I am trying to change this.

However, it wont.

I have two text strings that I did a good months ago and have updated versions and drupal core since then, and not doesn't work, i cant even delete, or disable the two strings i have on there. I even de activated the module, uninstalled, deleted folder, cleared cache, tried to find any ref n database, then reinstalled, and two strings hat were there before uninstall were there again even though I uninstalled, but still cant add any new strings.

any help greatly appreciated
