Yeah, this modules great but for people switching content into a drupal based site there are don't seem to be any solutions for creating libraries of large collections of files without tedious upload one by one.
It'd be awesome if you could FTP to the folder and this module would generate the interface automagically.
May have a go at it myself if no other solution presents itself.
Doh! Sorry, bit slow today. Of course it is, it says so in the interface.
I think I've just got things set up wrong as I can't FTP into the folder Fileshare creates so I assumed I'd got the wrong end of the stick and you had to use the upload interface in the edit screen.
Problem seems to be permission based - the owner of the folder on the server is the script (or some process) and not me, and I don't have permission to change this, so cannot upload anything into it.
I seem to be having the same issues. Can't FTP to the file share folder files/file_share1 as I'm not the owner but "apache" is. Has anyone had a solution to this (ie getting the web host to change the ower of a folder)?

JamieR commentedYes of course FTP is really the primary method of file transfer for this module.

I'll pursue this with our hosts I think.
Thanks
