Is nodeformpopup compatible with Automatic NodeTitles?

I have an autocomplete nodereference field that displays a link underneath when nodeformpopup is enabled. When I click that link it opens up an add node form. After I submit a new node, I noticed that the Automatic NodeTitles didn't work.

Is there any fix for this?
