I keep getting the error above, I have ffmpeg installed on my server and whenever I try to upload a 1.5mb video i keep getting this message "An unrecoverable error occurred. The uploaded file likely exceeded the maximum file size (1000 MB) that this server supports." and even sometimes a ajax error. I have contacted my hosting they are not sure what the problem is. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Are you also getting this error when you upload the file using a normal File field as opposed to a Video field?

No I am able to upload find using the file field, its only with the video field I have this problem. I can pm you the site link so you can try it for yourself.

It is hard to determine the cause of this error, because the error message is very generic. I can only investigate this error if I have access to the video upload form on your site, and preferably also a normal file upload form.

I have sent you a pm, I was not aware that this error is very common, please let me know what type of details you need and I will be happy to provide them to narrow down this problem.

Well, it is not common, but generic in the sense that it can mean lots of things. Are all videos you tried not working?

yes this is with different formats and different sizes.

I have looked at your site and it appears that your FFmpeg version is really old. I recommend updating to a newer version, but I have also made some changes to the code that should fix the problem. However, you may run into more problems when you are going to transcode the videos. The updated version will be available for download within 12 hours.

Great! thank you for looking into this for me. Hopefully this will help if someone else happens to run into this problem
