I have been using Feedburner for many times without seeing it improving. Then I decided to create my own feed and newsletter management service with many options in my mind. The Feednanga was born. Built on Drupal 7.
I started building the service on may and made the public beta testing available on july. It is not a real beta test because the service is ready and is doing well what it actually does. If I still keep the beta label, it is because I want to see how it may work with a great number of feeds.
Here are what Feednanga can do for you:
- Publish your feed from our server instead of using yours.
- Automatically correct the "bad starting character" bug in your feed
- Send newsletters to your subscribers
- Proposes a daily subscription or a "per news" subscription. The "per news" subscription sends emails each time a post is published.
- Allows you to impose a category hierarchy to your newsletter for the daily mail, so that content is grouped in categories
- Includes sharing button in emails, including a viral approach for share by email where email shared looks exactly like the original and keep the same sharing button.
Many options are to be added. Actually, Feednanga is free. Later, It may cost for those who have more than 1000 unique subscribers.
Visit it, try it and tell me what you think about.
