minoroffense commentedWhich version of FlexSlider do you have installed? They recently released 2.0. Maybe the make file is downloading the wrong version...

panayotis commentedThe error report refers to the library version not the module. Visit the github page, click on downloads and select version 1.8. I did the same and the error disappeared.
However, I do not know if version 2 can be used despite the error. Possibly not. Have a look here. I suggest to wait with the update.

ja_design commentedThat was it. I downloaded the wrong library (2.0). For all those looking for 1.8 here is the direct link: https://github.com/woothemes/FlexSlider/downloads
As a side note, I didn't have any problems with the 2.0 version, and nav controls are much better!

minoroffense commentedFlexSlider 7.x-1.0 does NOT support FlexSlider library v2. Most of the options remained the same but not all of them. Plus there are a lot of new features.
See the 7.x-2.x version of the module for support with FlexSlider library v2.

The newest version of Flexslider does use newest 2.0 version of library.
FlexSlider 7.x-2.0-alpha1
