When a new user is invited, I have set it so that they automatically become inviters buddy. I also have a block that is displaying "Recent posts from my buddylist". Now the problem is that inviter users are seeing their friend's names in that block, and when they click it, it takes them to new user's usernode page, which is an obscure page for them... and it's confusing as to what are they actually looking at.
And it also clutters that block, which fulfills an important function of keeping in touch with friends and their new blog posts.
I have tried few things to stop usernode links from displaying. I've unchecked "Publish" and "Promote to front" page for Usernode content type. But it is still displaying inside that block.
Quite frankly I'm still unclear what usernode is supposed to do. On its own it looks pretty meaningless. But I just installed it so that I could construct a listing of a directory of users through Views module.
Is there a way of preventing usernode titles being displayed inside "Recent posts from my buddies" block???
Thanks you in advance for your help (as well as in retrospect for this module)

fagohm, no except one - replace the block with a view.
Due to the way usernode works, usernode are just like normal site content - so it is listed there.
