This basically entails integration of the front-end and back-end prototype, cleaning up rough edges, and making sure these are ready to go in Spark.

Ok, so we got started on this in http://drupalcode.org/project/layout.git/commit/e1628109367347c06a6a86ef... and followups. We did not reference this issue yet at the time :). There are also still many rough edges with the integration, the breakpoints are not fed yet to the frontend, the changes are not yet saved. But some initial config is integrated.

Also? It's looking a TON better now than it did when you left for vacation. :) However, if we could resolve #1715874: Add a default responsive layout out of the box on the front page I think we'd get a lot more people playing around with it.
