Hi,

I'm having a problem when I move my development site from my PC, to a localhost on my laptop. I did all the steps required, edited settings.php... Folders have all privileges. I don't understand why it doesn't work. It worked perfectly when I moved the site earlier in my development process and if I try to load that version of my site it still works.

Just having the folders be world writable is probably not enough. Depending on how your web server is configured you may need to make sure that whatever user runs as the web server has permissions to execute all of the files. So check through your file permissions and make sure the files belong to either apache or httpd or the account belonging to your web site. not knowing how your server configured makes it pretty hard to tell you in any more detail.
