Can't updating old release

Hi, I'm trying to fix an issue to my module ( http://drupal.org/project/iconizer ): it has some non-GPL icons in it and I have to remove them. I changed them in my DRUPAL-5 branch and I'd like to move (because it's already assigned to a prior release that contains non-GPL icons, I 'd like the wrong icons can't be included in the -BETA release) the TAG DRUPAL-5--1-0-BETA to the actual module version. As written here http://drupal.org/node/57516#release I created an issue about my problem.

I'm new to CVS and TortoiseCVS usage, if you can link me to a guide or confirm that using "Tag -> move" can (after temporarily change the tag that the release node is pointing to) solve my problem would be nice! :)
