Header as filter

Hi I couldn´t find a thread concerning my question.

I have a view that displays nodes in a table.
Above this I want a grid of taxonomy terms that concerns the nodes in the table.

I have been able to do this by adding a new view in the header.

Now the problem is I want the terms in the grid to work as with the regular filters.
So i a user clicks one of the terms the view will filter the nodes of the table, is this possible?

Right now the terms show up but when I click one of them I get directed to the taxonomy/term/* url.

would it be possible to do this somehow or will I have to use a regular filter?

Add// Im using ajax for the regular filters right now so if this if possible to do I would like the terms to filter with ajax as well.
