Cool travel and also nice interview. Especially liked the fact that its more personal than technical. And now i finally know how to pronounce Dries Buytaert! :D

Dries-

Assuming it's cool w/Linus, would it be possible to put the "Linus' advice on running a big project" email online? I'm sure I'm not the only one interested in hearing what he had to say and how it affected you (since you say you re-read it)

Dries,

I would also love to see it -- would love to hear more about your understanding of the relationship between "leadership" and building communities.

Of course I'd also totally respect your privacy and if looking toward that document would be less helpful if it were public... then do keep it private.

Yes, it would be great to know some or all of the Linus' advices.

I'll think about it! ;-)

OK, I've learned a few things from this interview:

1) The name of Dries is pronounced "dris" and not "dries" like in dry. :-)

2) Drupal is pronounced with the accent going on Dru and not in pal like in Nepal for example.

OK, after feeling a lot better now that I know these two important things, here's a quote from Dries in the interview:

The important thing about Drupal is the community and not the software itself.

That says it all.

Dugg! Excellent interview, great to see where the project came from in more detail.

I had the pleasure of meeting 'Noneck' Noel when he was in London just over a month ago - we had fun at the moo.com party. Please do visit http://luckofseven.com/ and support his journey if you can - he still needs a few more $$$ to complete his trip, and as you've seen, it's been worth it so far!

Thank you very much for that impressing video.
I am quite new to the drupal-community and the powerful CMS of Drupal, so the video was quite interesting to me.
Greetings from Germany.
