I'm having a problem with the ipod touch. I'm using mobiletools and browscap and doing domain switching and switching the theme on domain.

What seems to happen is that initially the system detects the ipod touch correctly and throws it at the mobile version. If I then click to go to the desktop version that's fine too. But after that if I then try to switch back to the mobile version it will go to the mobile version but then when I change page it will go back to the desktop version. The only thing that fixes it is clearing all the cookies.

So test case is:
1) Go site - should switch you to mobile site
2) Opt to view desktop - should switch and browsing will take place in normal site.
3) Opt to go back to mobile site - will switch site but subsequent browsing will now take you back to desktop site which is wrong.

My switch links are:

MOBILE > DESKTOP: http://domain.com/alias/?device=desktop
DESKTOP > MOBILE: http://m.domain.com/alias/?device=mobile (I have also tried device=auto)

If you can't replicate this I can give you a login to my site which is currently in development. This only seems to occur on an ipod touch

Chris.

Turns out this wasn't just the ipod touch but anyway setting the cookie domain in the settings file seems to have sorted it.
