MyTroops (Washington, DC - U.S.A.) has sponsored the development of this userpoints submodule.
It permits to send an email everytime a user receives some points and not only when the points exceed a threshold.

Thanks for the module. It is now added to the repository, and will appear in the 5.x-dev tarball, until 2.15 comes out then it will be there.
