As title suggests, the browser refresh does not work for me. There is no refresh or update without refresh. It's possible I'm being dense and don't know how to set this up, but I've been over the settings multiple times. I tried relative and absolute paths for the scss file, with and without domain name. I'd really like this to work, as I like using sass, but i'm accustomed to use the firefox web dev extension to edit css in real time, and I'd like to get something close to this working with sass.

tsi commentedStrange, no one reported of issues with it since it was added to Sasson, do you get any errors in your JS console ? did you tried it in another browser ?
the path should look like this:
sites/all/themes/sasson/styles/sasson.scssComment #2
druvision commentedTzachi, I had a similar issue. Please check the location of the sub-theme files: Are you putting them / searching for them / generating them in the right directory? Try to install a sub-theme and see...

danieljb commentedPath is correct. What do you mean by installing a subtheme? I have created a subtheme using drush sns themename. Or do you mean a different them?
tsi commentedUsing drush sns is the right way to go. any more info regarding this ? obviously for us it works fine.
danieljb commentedWhat other information can I provide. I installed the sasson theme through drush, created a subtheme, checked the settings in the subtheme. it is set to watch "sites/all/themes/[themename]/[themename].scss with [themename] replaced by our actual theme name, of course. The idea of having the website refresh itself sounds like black magic to me. Nothing happens. I edit and save my scss file and there is no reaction from the browser.
Edit: I just thought of something: is the browser supposed to be running on the same workstation as the server itself? I am editing files on a remote server and viewing them on my desktop computer's browser. The remote server is LAMP.
tsi commenteddo you get any errors in your JS console ?
sittard commentedGot the same issue, no JS errors. I can see the file requests being fired off in the console window. I'm running OSx MAMP server and I think the problem for me is that the header Last Modified date is not being updated via the AJAX request (only updates on a browser refresh). Not sure why that is!
tsi commentedThanks @sittard, I've backported some improvements from v3.x, I think they should solve your issue.
[Edit] Please test it on 7.x-2.x-dev branch.

sittard commentedThat sorted it. Thanks for the quick response and fix.
