It's not a bad idea to create a test page for each tools like mediaplayer or image roater so users can test their settings and troubleshoot their problems.

At the moment I don't plan to implement this, but as a compromise SWF Tools 6 includes a diagnostic report that tells you if it is able to find the supporting files it needs. If it can then things should work...
