Hi,
we created a custom content type, called "recipe".
We went to "manage display" in the fields, and selected custom teaser in the checkbox in "custom display settings" at the bottom of the page.
Then we clicked on "Teaser" in the upper left of the same page, and changed the dropdown in the Format Column to "Hidden" for the field "Language".
What happens is this:
Whenever we select some taxonomy tag, we no longer see the language indication at the bottom of the teaser.
However, we ALWAYS see ANOTHER language indication which always exists at the beginning of the teaser(!).
This does not happen in the Basic Page or Article content types, only to the new one that we created.
We had a similar problem with Webforms, but it was resolved when we selected "Hidden" in "Manage Display".
In this case however, we can't get rid off the Language indication.
Please help!!
Also, how can we upload screenshots to help you out? When we select the image button in this editor, we get a http://drupal.org/files/ URL but cannot find where to upload the files, in order to clear the things up for the readers.

PS. The teasers I'm referring to, are the ones that appear when we click on a term from taxonomy which is used on a recipe.

Problem Solved
Finally we found out what was the problem.
When we were in the teasers page, we went there from clicking on a taxonomy term. So all the teasers were related to that term.
The problem with the language indication was because of the taxonomy. We went to taxonomy, we selected the vocabulary and then set on Manage Display the language to Hidden!
