I am new to Drupal and trying to figure out if its good for us. The only thing is that I gather that the front page (home page) needs to be developed and that essentially Drupal is really just an engine. I am correct. Unlike Dolphin where you get every page and customize it, do you need to create these pages for Drupal?

konradvo- how about a belated response? There are some easy built-in ways to publish content on a front page and there are many options available through the administrative backend that also allow the administrator to customize the experience.

Drupal does not create a site "skeleton" where you just have to fill in the content itself, but does allow you to easily setup different ways of gathering and presenting different data sets.
