Chicago Technology Cooperative

The Chicago Technology Cooperative is an organization that builds and implements websites and web-based applications for nonprofit organizations in Chicago and across the U.S. The Cooperative's developers and designers are skilled in site architecture and planning, module creation and modification, theme design and implementation, and database integration. Current projects sponsored or maintained by CTC include Web Links, Node Adoption, and the Gmap and Gmap Add-ons modules.

The Cooperative works with nonprofit and community-based organizations of all types and sizes. CTC client projects include:

  • Chicago Public Radio's new community media website Vocalo, a social networking and media sharing site associated with CPR's new radio station of the same name
  • Chicago Ancestors, sponsored by the Newberry Library, provides hundreds of historical resources about Chicago in an interactive searchable map-based format
  • Chicago Early Childhood Resume Bank, an employment portal for pre-K teachers and staff in the metro Chicago area, sponsored by CMAEYC and Chicago Public Schools
