There is an inventory control section for the main product. But how do you track inventory for a particular variation.
Say you’ve got 4 Small, 5 Medium, 3 Large, and 2 X-Large. How would you track the inventory for each one of those?

jacerider commentedI am running into this same issue... I see you can set the number in stock when editing an attribute... but it does not seem to go down when the item is purchased.

simplyspoke commentedI have started to look into this issue as it is a vital aspect of the site I have deployed. Noted that the product attribute stock amount is taken from the attribute stock and not the new combo after attribute and product are combined. I will look into figuring a fix for this tomorrow or shortly after.

rvarkonyi commentedHi guys,
my problem is I create the variations and attributes, then the parent product but I'm not able to set the actual stock of specific combinations. Actually the combinations won't get created until I place an item in the cart. For example t-shirt is the parent product with color and size variations. So "T-shirt White XXL" gets created as a node only after I place the parent product with these variations in the cart.
Can anyone pls help?
Thanks
