When edit story the Grant button does not display in header, so there is no way to set role permissions. I must say this is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the hard work.

There really isn't enough information in this bug report to even look into. The most probable cause I can think of is that you did not enable the grant tab for the Story type.
