I searched Drupal.org for "chess" and found only one chess related module creation attempt: http://drupal.org/node/116399 Unfortunately, developers of the module had given up their plans. I would love to provide users of my site with possibility to play chess online between themselves. Could Drupal gurus take a look on TWO modules on facebook.com and develop similar module for Drupal. How much this kind of job would cost?

oh, it is too much for me.
oh, it is too much for me. maybe we could gather money by Drupal community all together? I am ready to put $200 for this module. Who else?
chess2u, where are you
Yes, that chess module for Drupal 4.7 was created but never released.
I would love to play chess within Drupal and I wrote to the developer. I was told that development was stopped because of "some circumstances" but that it would resume at some point. That was in April, 2007.
Email me and I'll send you the developer's email address (I was informed that the contact form for chess2u is obselete).
christefano, well if they
christefano, well if they stopped and unwilling to continue the project, then there is no point to insisting. why don't we just gather funds for integrating to Drupal one of two chess modules on facebook.com?
Well, I don't have any
Well, I don't have any personal interest in using Facebook for chess. Having an open source chess server in Drupal is much more attractive to me. I've been cultivating a love/hate relationship with Yahoo Chess for years and will jump at the chance to drop Yahoo for good.
I actually meant independent
I actually meant independent chess programm. The matter is Facebook has two INEGRATED chess programms. Those are initially independent. So I would love if someone could integrate one of those two programms directly to Drupal, without making it dependent on Facebook.
