I've had a look at making Flash Gallery work with recent versions of Image module and it seems to be a relatively straight-forward change to make it work – I have the modified version working fine on my site.
Attached should be a diff file with my changes. As well as Image 5.x-1.3+ compatibility, I have removed the height style from gallery listings (caused issues with long image descriptions) and added a title to the galleries page.

I am new to Drupal, etc.
I have been looking for a fix to the Flash Gallery, thank you for working on it!
Basically, can you tell me or show me where your fix is placed within the files, is it in the flash_gallery module.
If you could post it as seen in the file that would be the best thing that's happened all week :)

I don't know why it isn't working for me :(
I get an error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function image_get_sizes() in /opt/drupal-5.1/sites/webxpres6.iws.es/modules/flash_gallery/flash_gallery.module on line 82

Ok, now it's working. I was using Image 5.x-1.4. For me only has Image 5.x-1.5 compatibility, but I don't know if this is only my problem.
