Hi,
I'm creating a new Drupal site which will sell access to information. When clients make a purchase they can buy; a box with the information printed which will be shipped, a CD which will be shipped to them or access to a file download as a PDF. Each version of the product is priced differently. Is it possible to sell just one product and have these three as purchasing options?
The best way I can see to do it is to create the 3 different products (Box, CD and PDF) then manually create the page which displays all the details of the product and the purchasing options and prices for all three versions at the bottom. Clicking the add button will then add the product to the shopping cart, the problem with this is that its manual (!) and the pricing in the page won't get updated and links to add to the cart could easily change thus breaking it.
If anyone has a suggestion or has done this before I would appreciate knowing the best way of doing it.
Thanks,
Ryan

Hey Ryan, just thought I'd
Hey Ryan, just thought I'd point out the capabilities of Ubercart w/ the File Product contribution submitted by CpILL. Lyle created our attribute system to allow you to create a single product w/ an attribute (such as delivery format) that has the various options you need (like hardcopy, CD, or PDF). You can specify a different price and SKU based on which delivery format was chosen. CpILL's module offers appropriate files downloads to users based on the SKU of the products they purchased. This would make it possible for you to have a single product that handles all three possibilities. Stop on by our forums if you have any problems testing it out. : )
