jcfiala commentedDo you still get this when you're using 7.x-1.x-dev?
What are the settings you were using for the link field?
Thanks.

bisonbleu commentedNothing changes with 7.x-1.x-dev. Settings for the field are as follows.

jkingsnorth commentedI haven't been able to recreate this issue in the latest version.
Perhaps a second a is being output in the field template, or via Display Suite or something?
I'll close the issue for now but please do reopen it with steps to recreate the issue in the latest version if it is still a problem. (Looks like the typo has since been fixed too).
