Custom Forms on a Product page (node) in Ecommerce Module

I have a website where I sell custom made books and cards. I'm trying to find a way where customers can come and customize a book or card and order it. Some options will change the price such as size or accessories but others will not like the color. I would like the user to be able to use radio buttions and drop downs to select the options, like those found in CCK, and then add the configured product to cart and check out with the correct price. I've seen the product variations of ecommerce but it doesn't allow the buttons and dropdowns and it doesn't seem quite right.

I'm sure I'll have to use CCK somehow but I don't want the customers creating content everytime they order a custom product. I'm pretty new at all this. If someone could just point out some helpful modules and point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it.
